SIXTEENTH ANNUAL CONFERENCE ON MANAGEMENT OF THE TINNITUS PATIENT

Intended Audience & Purpose: This conference is intended for otologists, audiologists, psychologists, and nurses who provide clinical management services for patients with tinnitus. The conference will also provide information to patients who have tinnitus, their family and friends, but it will NOT include individual diagnosis and treatment. The purpose of this conference is to provide a review of current evaluation and management strategies for the treatment of tinnitus. Upon completion of the program, the participant will be able to discuss the management of tinnitus and the tinnitus patient.

The University of Iowa is the State of Iowa Licensure of Audiologists sponsor # 143. We will provide a certificate verifying your attendance, the program content, and the number of hours you have attended to assist you with CEU requirements in your state.

TRAVEL: The Cedar Rapids Airport is 20 miles north of Iowa City. Shuttle service via Airport Shuttle Service to Iowa City is available (phone: 800-725-8460 or 319-337-2340). Cost is $36 one-way or $67 round trip. Please notify the shuttle service 24 hours prior to requiring service (date of arrival, flight number, and arrival time into Cedar Rapids). Parking rates at the University Hospital: Friday, $2.00/hour, max $12.00/day; Saturday, $.75/ hour, max of $12.00/day.
