The MISSION of the Association for Research in Otolaryngology shall be the encouragement and promotion of research, both basic and clinical, in the broad field of Otolaryngology and related areas; to foster friendly assembly and stimulate scientific interest among its members; to this end, the Association shall hold scientific meetings at regular intervals and engage in such activities as the membership deems appropriate to achieve these objectives.
It seems like a simple mission, yet, it’s complex. There is so much that goes into the fulfillment of this mission that is essential to our field. In fact, we cannot rely upon membership dues and conference revenue alone to cover the operating costs of ARO. As a 501(c)(3) organization, we rely on sponsorships and donations to help us keep our membership dues at an affordable level and ensure that we can still operate effectively, fund awards, support early career professionals, and so much more. Your gift, great or small, will go a long way in helping ARO to drive science, and lead innovation to improve the health of all people!
In order to further our mission, philanthropic gifts are needed to ensure that early career nurse researchers have the support and guidance of seasoned professionals while enhancing the field of nursing research for years to come.
