SUMMARY:Virtual Conference on Computational Audiology VCCA2025
DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to announce the sixth Virtual Conference on Computational Audiology\, VCCA2025\, which will bring together hearing\, audiology\, AI\, and computational researchers from around the world. \nAbout VCCA2025\nThe 2025 conference will be chaired by Seba Ausili (University of Miami) with the co-chairs Carlos Benítez-Barrera (University of Wisconsin-Madison) and Jan-Willem Wasmann (Radboud University Medical Center).\nThe chair of the Scientific Committee is to be appointed. \nVCCA2025 will build on previous conferences to provide an interactive platform for the presentation and discussion of the latest research in Computational Audiology. Key areas of exploration will include the application of computational approaches to audiological interventions and hearing science\, AI in audiology and hearing healthcare\, auditory neuroscience\, and acoustics to facilitate hearing. The program will feature submitted talks\, special sessions\, and keynote presentations. \nProgram Highlights\nOur comprehensive program features submitted talks\, special sessions\, and keynote presentations. Check out the VCCA2025 program highlights. \nMore VCCA2025 updates will follow soon. \nMission and Impact\nThe VCCA conferences strive to enhance hearing healthcare\, improve the efficacy of audiological interventions\, and mitigate the global burden of hearing loss through computational approaches. The conferences promote discourse\, collaboration\, and innovation within our global community of scientists and researchers. \nTarget audience:\n\nHearing\, Audiology\, AI\, and Computational researchers all over the world\nPeople working on speech and communication and/or assistive technology\nYoung scientists are especially encouraged to take part\nNo participation fee\nSeveral time zones\n\nAbstract submission is open!\nSubmit your abstract here [Click here to visit our CMT page]. \nPlease read our call for abstracts and submission guidelines for further details.\nWe will provide a VCCA2025 Young Scientist Award\, including $1000\, to the best contribution to the conference. For pitch videos there is a $250 award for the best Video Pitch. \nCMT Acknowledgment:\nThe Microsoft CMT service is used for managing the peer-reviewing process for this conference. This service was provided for free by Microsoft and they bore all expenses\, including costs for Azure cloud services as well as for software development and support. \nImportant dates\n\nMarch 17\, 2025: Abstract submission system opens\nApril 25\, 2025: Abstract submission deadline\nMay 14\, 2025: Decision notifications (acceptance/rejection)\nJune 5\, 2025: Deadline for submission of video recordings and slides\nJune 24\, 2025: Deadline for registration\nJune 26-27\, 2025: Conference dates\n\nQuestions and further information\nIf you have any questions\, email us at VCCA2024@computationalaudiology.com. \nVCCA2025 Links\n\n\n\nVCCA2025 – Overview\nVCCA2025 – Call for abstracts and submission guidelines\nVCCA2025 – Program highlights\nVCCA2025 – Scientific Committee\n\n\n\n  \n\nMore information and VCCA updates will follow soon.
