Audiology Faculty Asst Professor – University of North Texas
The Department of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (ASLP) at the University of North Texas invites qualified applicants to apply for a 9-month, tenure-track faculty position beginning in August 2023 in audiology at the level of Assistant Professor. Successful candidates will have a Ph.D. in audiology, or a related field. Minimum Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in audiology, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Demonstrated commitment to excellence in research, teaching, and/or service that supports equity and inclusion for all in the academic community.
- Research expertise in balance, hearing conservation, amplification, or psychoacoustics. Other specialty areas will be considered.

Located within HPS, the Department of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology provides the finest graduate professional education in both speech-language pathology and audiology while maintaining an excellent undergraduate degree. The program stresses excellence in teaching, research, and service by its faculty and students. As a component of the educational program, the department operates the UNT Speech and Hearing Center. The Center offers professional services to members of our campus community and the general public for the purpose of providing clinical training for students. The center offers state-of-the-art diagnosis and treatment of speech, language, and hearing disorders.
