Laryngology Faculty Position – Medical University of South Carolina
The Department of Otolaryngology in the College of Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking applicants for a tenure-track Laryngology faculty position at the Assistant Professor level. The primary area of responsibility is clinical practice with opportunities for teaching (lecturing) and research.
The faculty member will be responsible for the evaluation and treatment of voice, swallowing and airway disorders with a focus on building an open airway reconstructive surgery program. Evaluation of applicants will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. Salary will be commensurate with rank and qualifications. MUSC and MUSC Health are in the midst of an exciting period of growth with increases in extramural research funding, support for expanding telehealth activities, and several new clinical outreach facilities. MUSC provides tertiary care services for all adult and pediatric conditions, making MUSC the state’s quaternary care center.
