Responsibilities & Requirements:
The Stony Brook University Department of Surgery and the Division of Otolaryngology is recruiting an attending at the level of Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor to serve the medical needs of currently underserved population on Long Island. The individual will work closely with the surgeons in the division as well as the Department of Surgery. Interest in development of a Neurotology practice both in the hospital setting as well as the community. Interest in research and the mentoring of residents and medical students. Publications and clinical experience in the field of Otolaryngology and Neuro-otology.
MD/DO Degree. Board Certified or Board Eligible and Fellowship trained in Otolaryngology/Otology/Neurotology and eligible for, or have a license to practice medicine in New York State. The candidate will have demonstrated clinical and research capabilities, interest and experience in teaching and supervision of undergraduate, medical students and residents.
Experience in an academic medical facility with an active clinical practice. Demonstrated experience in research and the mentoring of residents and medical students. Publications and clinical experience in Otolaryngology and Neuro-otology.
