Postdoctoral Fellow – Trussell Lab at the Oregon Health and Science University in Portland Oregon
The Trussell Lab at the Oregon Health and Science University in Portland Oregon is seeking a postdoctoral fellow to explore auditory brainstem circuitry using mouse models. Specific projects, dependent on the candidate’s interests, will examine neuromodulatory mechanisms, cochlear efferent system, or a combined electrophysiological and molecular deep-dive into the cell types of the cochlear nucleus. Qualified candidates should have experience using the patch-clamp technique and will be eager to learn optogenetic and RNA-seq methods.
Salary will be graded with years of experience, following NIH NRSA stipends.
