Postdoctoral Position – Department of Biomedical Sciences at the School of Medicine at Creighton University
We have an open postdoctoral position in the Department of Biomedical Sciences at the School of Medicine at Creighton University. We are strengthening existing research directions in the Translational Hearing Center via a 2-year position funded by the Bellucci Depaoli Family Foundation in BMS laboratories utilizing translational approaches to auditory and vestibular disorders (BMS faculty are listed here). These include development of ototherapeutics, genomic predisposition to, or non-genomic etiologies of, hearing loss and in research audiology and vestibular sciences. Generous laboratory space with equipment, competitive salary and research funding opportunities as well as state-of-the art research core facilities are available.
Applicants should have a Ph.D., M.D., or M.D./Ph.D. degree with significant research accomplishments and scholarly promise. Application materials, including a CV, a brief summary of research to date and planned research directions in the next 5 years, along with the names of three referees who can write letters of recommendation (at least one outside the applicant’s home institution). Applicants should identify a PI (see website) willing to mentor their post-doctoral training.
