POSTDOCTORAL POSITION TO STUDY THE CELLULAR AND MOLECULAR MECHANISMS OF HEARING AND HEARING LOSS
A NIH-funded postdoctoral position is available immediately in the Corfas Lab at the Kresge Hearing Research Institute of the University of Michigan to study the mechanisms regulating the formation, function and degeneration of the inner ear, with focus on synaptic and myelin biology.

Te ideal candidate will have a PhD in Neuroscience or equivalent, a solid background in cell-molecular biology and/or expertise in imaging (light and/or EM) and auditory physiology. Experience with viral-mediated gene therapy and inner ear delivery highly desirable.
