Postdoctoral Positions in Yale Medical School
2-3 Postdoctoral positions are immediately available in Dr. Hong-Bo Zhao’s lab at the Department of Surgery – Otolaryngology, Yale University Medical School to study:
- Gene therapy for Cx26 (GJB2) mutation induced hearing loss.
- The effects and role of Hearing functional changes in Alzheimer’s disease development and progression.
Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in Hearing Sciences, or other related fields. Applicants from other non-hearing neuroscience fields also welcome. Applicants should be motivated and productive. Priority will be given to candidates with experience in gene therapy, molecular biology, gene sequencing, and working knowledge of the auditory system. Initial appointment will be for 1-2 years with possible extension based on performance. Salary and benefits are consistent with current NIH guidelines and university policies based on applicant’s experience.
