Postdoctoral Research Associate/Fellow Position at the University of Southern California
We seek a motivated, detail-oriented, and organized individual to study normal and impaired hearing in animal models within the lab of Dr. Karolina Charaziak (https://sites.usc.edu/charaziaklab/) at the Keck School of Medicine. The research project will involve the use of in vivo electrophysiology, acoustical measurements, and optical techniques (Optical Coherence Tomography) to assess hearing function in small rodents. Dr. Charaziak’s lab is a part of multidisciplinary auditory research group within the Keck School of Medicine.
Candidates must have a PhD or an equivalent experience in bio/audio engineering, neuroscience or a related area.
Key requirements are experience with electrophysiological recordings, signal processing, and data analyses. Experience with programming in MATLAB or Python is preferred, but not required. Experience with animal research highly valued, but not necessary.
Start date: flexible.
