Please look for an upcoming announcement from the Department of Biomedical Sciences in the School of Medicine at Creighton University. We will be seeking applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position opening on August 1, 2022.
We are strengthening existing research directions in the Translational Hearing Center by establishing new laboratories in auditory and vestibular neuroscience. Special consideration will be given to those utilizing translational approaches to auditory and vestibular disorders, including development of ototherapeutics, genomic predisposition to, or non-genomic etiologies of, hearing loss, research audiology and clinical applications. Generous laboratory space with equipment, competitive start-up funding, and state-of-the art research core facilities will be available.
Eligible applicants will have a Ph.D., M.D., or M.D./Ph.D. degree; postdoctoral training with significant research accomplishments and scholarly promise. Please prepare application materials to submit after August 1st 2022, including a CV, a 2-3 page summary of research plans for the next 5 years, a personal mission statement on how research and teaching activities will reflect Creighton’s Catholic, Jesuit mission (see https://www.creighton.edu/about/mission), and the names of three referees who can write letters of recommendation (at least one outside the applicant’s home institution).
