Position: Tenure Track Asst/Assoc/Full Professor (Open Rank)
Emphasis: Research and graduate level teaching with a preferred emphasis in pediatric audiology
Date of Appointment: July 1, 2022
Applications are invited for a tenure track position with an Audiology focus in the Division of Speech and Hearing Sciences, Department of Allied Health Sciences, UNC School of Medicine. This position is designed for a scholar with an established program of research having a record of, or strong potential for, successful extramural funding.
Minimum Qualifications: Applicants should have an earned doctorate degree in audiology or a related field, evidence of a productive research agenda with current or a strong potential to attract extramural funding, and a commitment to working in a multi-cultural environment with students from diverse backgrounds.
Primary responsibilities will include pursuing a research program in auditory science, preferably with a translational focus, teaching in the Au.D. program, and mentoring doctoral students. Preferred Qualifications The ideal candidate will have research expertise in auditory development/pediatrics, evidence of leadership potential in the professional arena, and eligibility for NC state licensure.
Salary: Commensurate with professional experience and qualifications.
