Two NIH-funded postdoctoral or research scientist positions are immediately available in Dr. Zhao’s lab at Yale University Medical School to study 1) gene therapy of GJB2 mutations induce hearing loss and 2) auditory phenotypes in Alzheimer’s disease (AD) development and progression.
To ideal candidates will have a PhD in Neuroscience or equivalent. Experience with viral gene therapy, a solid background in cellular and molecular biology, experience on imaging (confocal and/or EM), and auditory physiology is highly desirable but not necessary.
