Registration is now open for the next edition of the CogHear Workshop, the week of June 16–20, 2025, at the University of Maryland, College Park, with generous support from NIDCD.

The workshop is structured around roundtable discussions and this year’s theme will reflect on the current landscape and the future of auditory cognitive decoding, with a focus on translational and clinical applications.

Each day will focus on a specific theme:

Technology: Exploring new frontiers beyond full-cap EEG/MEG—single-channel, in-ear, fNIRS, intracranial, etc.

AI & LLMs: Use deep learning and reasoning models for decoding, inference, and personalization.

Clinical Focus: Objective measures (intelligibility, engagement, and effort), and translating findings to clinical populations.

BCI: Where are we now? Evaluating decoding technologies as closed-loop systems.
