ISH 2025 will take place from June 1 to June 6, 2025, in Vienna, Austria. It will take place at Hotel Schloss Wilhelminenberg, a former grand imperial retreat with a spectacular view over Vienna. Participants will be accommodated on site in order to create an intimate atmosphere and stimulate close exchange of ideas.
The topic of ISH2025 will be: Advances in Auditory Physiology, Perception, and Cognition.
ISH meetings have a long tradition of bringing together researchers from different areas of hearing science, including psychophysics, physiology, and auditory modeling. The ISH2025 will be open also to the emerging field of auditory cognitive neuroscience. Consistent with previous format, we invite innovative unpublished contributions from any of these areas. Contributions will be considered for either oral or poster presentation. Besides established researchers, we also encourage contributions from younger researchers (e.g., late PhD phase) for whom a reduced registration fee will be offered by means of studentships.
Decisions on contributions will be based on extended abstracts (400 words). The number of accepted contributions (podium presentations and posters) will be limited to approximately 80. Submit your abstract here:
Authors of accepted presentations will have the opportunity to submit an associated publication in an ISH2025 Special Issue, which will be published in the peer-review open-access journal Trends in Hearing. Full papers can be submitted after the symposium. There will be a 50%-discount on publication fees (publication will be exclusively online). To avoid publication delays, the manuscripts will be published on a rolling basis.
