The Spitzer Lab in the Department of Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery is now recruiting an Associate Specialist. The responsibilities of this position include:
- Perform in vivo experiments in mouse models of cancer.
- Analyze immune cells and stromal cells by flow cytometry and related techniques.
- Lead an independent research project in the field of cancer biology and cancer immunology.
- Prepare scientific manuscripts for preparation.
- Assist in the preparation of grant applications.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree (or equivalent degree) or five to ten years of experience in the relevant specialization.
- Experience in the field of cancer-associated fibroblast biology.
- Experience in the field of cancer immunology.
- Experience with mouse models of cancer.
- Extensive expertise in flow cytometry.
- Experience leading and completing an independent research project.
- Scientific manuscript preparation.
- Experience preparing grant applications.
