Shi Laboratory at the Oregon Hearing Research Center (OHRC)
A postdoctoral scholar position with a competitive salary and excellent benefits is available in the Shi Laboratory at the Oregon Hearing Research Center (OHRC) in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery. Individuals who hold a PhD and have significant experience in mouse auditory physiology and molecular biology are especially well qualified to apply. The main focus of the Shi lab is animal research on auditory pathophysiology, gene therapy, cellular, and molecular biology. The OHRC is one of the world’s leading hearing-science research groups. Expertise in the OHRC spans from basic to translational science, and from the inner ear to the auditory cortex. The research focus of OHRC investigators ranges from fundamental mechanisms of hearing to development of therapies for hearing loss.
Salary: Competitive w/benefits. Beginning salary is $69,275.19 to $78,309.14 DOE.
