Postdoctoral positions at Yale University Medical School
Two postdoctoral positions are immediately available in Dr. Hongbo Zhao’s laboratory at Yale University School of Medicine. These positions focus on gene therapy for GJB2 mutation–induced hearing loss and the study of auditory phenotypes in Alzheimer’s disease. Preferred qualifications include strong motivation, the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, and experience with inner ear microinjection and cochlear histological analysis. Candidates with expertise or interest in developing innovative approaches in biochemistry, molecular biology, and genetics are also encouraged to apply. A PhD in Neuroscience, Developmental Biology, or a related field is required. Salary will follow NIH guidelines (approximately $68,500 for the first year) and will be commensurate with experience. Yale University adheres fully to NIH standards for postdoctoral trainees and fellows.
