Audiologist- Dept of Otolaryngology Head and Neck-Surgery at Mayo Clinic, Rochester

The Department of Otolaryngology Head and Neck-Surgery at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, is seeking an Audiologist to join our division of Audiology.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide direct patient care (50% FTE) and conduct clinical and translational research (50% FTE)
  • Oversee the delivery of patient care and partner with a team of clinical audiologists, externs, and audiology assistants.
  • Develop clinical protocols and guide the team on audiology standards and procedures.
  • Offer clinical lectures for the continuing education of audiologists, ENT residents, and fellows.
  • Provide audiology expertise and guidance on intricate clinical cases during multidisciplinary clinics within the otolaryngology department and across the diverse Mayo Clinic departments.
  • Initiate and oversee a translational research program that focuses on clinical applications in audiology, particularly in the areas of hearing aids, cochlear implants, and diagnostic audiology.
  • Collaborate with research faculty and the audiology team to secure extramural funding by developing grant applications.

Requirements:

  • D. in audiology or hearing sciences from an accredited institution
  • Licensed or ability to obtain license to practice audiology in the state of Minnesota
