The Department of Biomedical Sciences in the Creighton University School of Medicine invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the Dr. Richard J. Bellucci Translational Hearing Center. Applicants should not have received prior R01-level funding (>$210,000 per year in direct costs) as a primary investigator. The Center is strengthening existing research in translational auditory and vestibular neurosciences by establishing new laboratories. Special consideration will be given to those utilizing various translational approaches to auditory diseases, including drug development, genomic predisposition, and/or etiologies of hearing loss, animal models, research audiology and clinical applications. Appointees will be expected to conduct a vigorous independent research program and participate in graduate and professional student teaching.
